Your area of responsibility:

• Machining of rolls and turned parts from approx. Ø 200 mm and lengths from approx. 2500 mm
• Machining of roll tubes, roll bottoms, roll journals, bearing parts, couplings, bushings etc. made of steel and grey cast iron
• Crack testing on roll journals
• Dimensional inspection of roll journals
• Drilling out roll journals
• Turning off old roll covers
• Belt grinding of steel tube surfaces
• Safe use of measuring tools for self-inspection
• Reading, understanding and working according to technical drawings and working papers.
• Under expert supervision, we will introduce you to the production and machining of paper machine rolls.

You bring with you:

• Trained specialist as a lathe operator / cutting machine operator
• Crane driving licence would be perfect, but not a requirement and can be obtained from us

• Professional loading and unloading of trucks and other delivery vehicles

• Creating machining programmes on the cycle lathe
• Reading, understanding and working according to technical drawings and working papers
• Safe use of measuring tools for self-checking
